Armorial Wolf - Banner of the Clan

The historical template originates in Nordic mythology, from the realm of sagas and legends. Our banner depicts the wolf Skalli on one side and on the other his twin-wolf Hati.

Skalli hunts the wagon of the sun-goddess Sol across the heavens, forcing haste on the sun. During a solar eclipse he comes dangerously close to the sun. The wolf Hati hunts the wagon of the moon-god across the heavens, forcing haste on the moon.

Should Skalli secure the sun, it becomes dark and if Hati devours the moon, time would stop running. Thereupon time would not be able to be read on any calendar and day and night would become one.

Even though the two wolves have a rather threatening background in Nordic mythology, we have made these two our clan symbol. These two fast wolves protect our clan by day and night.
